Here we are. The main event! The Bill page is where you view and manage a specific Bill. Here is an overview of everything you can view and do from this page.

A. Bill Count
The Bill Count breadcrumb displays the count of Bills submitted for the patient’s Injury, and includes the count of:
- Rejected Bills
- Bills that are missing a response from the claims administrator
- Bills that received payment
- Bills that received a denial
Click the ‘Bill Count’ Breadcrumb to view a full list of bills entered for the patient’s Injury. For more information, see the Help Article: Bill List Explained.
B. Bill ID
A Bill’s ID appears in the top-left corner of the Bill page.
C. Bill Status
daisyBill assigns each Bill a Status that indicates where the Bill is in its Payment Cycle. The Status displays at the top of each Bill, next to the Bill ID number.
D. Edit Bill
Edit Original Bills with an Incomplete or Rejected Status. Note that once the Bill is sent, it cannot be modified, deleted, or rescinded. For more information, see the Help Article: Edit Bill.
E. Delete Bill
To delete a Bill, click ‘Delete’. You can delete Bills at any time before sending them. For more information, see the Help Article: Delete Bill.
F. Copy Bill
To copy a Bill, click ‘Copy’. Clicking this button creates an editable duplicate of the current Bill. For more information, see the Help Article: Copy Bill.
G. Forward Bill
daisyBill allows you to forward a Bill once it has a Sent Status. To forward a Bill, click ‘Forward’. Charges may apply for Bill forwards.
H. Bill History
To review the Bill History, click the ‘Bill History’ tab. The Bill History displays important billing information, including:
- Submission details
- Bill Tasks created and completed
- Claims Administrator receipt details
- Payment details
- Notes

I. Bill Submission Tabs
Click a tab to view details of that Bill Submission. For more information, see the Help Article: Bill Submission Tabs.
J. Procedure Code Details
Click the ‘i’ icon next to a Procedure Code to review details, such as where the ‘Charge’ and ‘Expected Fee Schedule’ populate from (e.g., Practice Charge, By Report Code, or AG Modifier). When applicable, daisyBill displays any Billing Ground Rules or NCCI Edits.
When daisyBill provides an Fee Schedule explanation, click ‘Fee Schedule Calculation’ to open the detailed calculation as a downloadable PDF format.
K. Documents Sent with Original Bill
Click a filename under ‘Documents Sent with Original Bill’ to review a submitted Document.
L. (Situational) View CMS 1500 PDF
daisyBill allows you to view the CMS 1500 PDF once a Bill has a Sent Status. To view the CMS 1500, click ‘CMS 1500 PDF’. For more information, see the Help Article: View CMS 1500.
M. Submission Coversheet
To view the coversheet submitted with the Bill, click ‘Submission Coversheet’.
N. Add Documents
To add Documents, click ‘+ Add’. For more information, see the Help Article: Documents - Add / View / Edit / Delete.
O. Post Paper EOR
To post a paper Explanation of Review (EOR), click ‘Post Paper EOR’. For more information, see the Help Article: Post: Paper EOR.
P. Explanations of Review Posted
The Explanations of Review Posted section has three components:
- ‘Bill Submission’ displays details of the Bill submission the EOR is posted to, and the payment amount applied to the Bill.
- ‘Payment Information’ displays the payment amount issued and the details for Paper Check, EFT, or Virtual Credit Card.
- ‘Explanation of Review’ displays how the EOR information was received, either as a Paper EOR or an electronic EOR. daisyBill provides links to view the EOR.
