Manage Billing Provider Explained - RFA Settings

Manage Billing Providers is where it’s at: the driver’s seat.

From Manage Billing Providers, Administrators control all account setup and preferences from one place, including Billed Charges, Rendering Providers, Places of Service, RFA Fax Preferences and more!  

Manage Billing Providers is split into three tabs: Billing Settings - Required, Billing Settings - Custom, and RFA Settings. For information on the Required tab, see the Help Article: Manage Billing Providers. Read on for information about the RFA Settings tab.

Here’s how it works.

A. To edit ‘Billing Provider Info’, click the ‘Billing Provider Info’ card

B. To manage ‘Fax Preferences’, click the ‘Fax Preferences’ card

C. To add or edit ‘Requesting Physicians’, click the ‘Requesting Physicians’ card

D. To add or edit ‘Practice Location’, click the ‘Practice Locations’ card

E. To add or edit ‘Practice Contacts’, click the ‘Practice Contacts’ card

F. To manage ‘RFA Task Preferences’, click the ‘RFA Task Preferences’ card

G. To add or edit ‘RFA Templates’, click the ‘RFA Templates’ card

Step 1. On the navigation bar, click ‘Settings’, then click the name of the Billing Provider you want to view or edit

This will navigate directly to Billing Settings - Required for that Billing Provider which includes all necessary information for bill submission including Rendering Provider, Places of Service and Charges.

Step 2. Click the ‘RFA Settings’ tab

RFA Settings allows users to customize their Billing Providers with Billing Provider Info, Fax Preferences, Requesting Physicians, Practice Locations, Practice Contacts, RFA Task Preferences, and RFA Templates.

A. To edit ‘Billing Provider Info’, click the ‘Billing Provider Info’ card

B. To add or edit ‘Requesting Physicians’, click the ‘Requesting Physicians’ card

C. To add or edit ‘Practice Location’, click the ‘Practice Locations’ card

D. To add or edit ‘Practice Contacts’, click the ‘Practice Contacts’ card

E. To manage ‘UR Decision Fax Preferences’, click the ‘UR Decision Fax Preferences’ card
