Statute or Regulation Text	16-11 (a) (6) Unreasonable delay in processing payment or denial of payment of medical service bills, as determined by the Director or an administrative law judge, may subject the payer to penalties under the Workers’ Compensation Act. (7) If the payer fails to make timely payment of uncontested billed services, the billing party may report the incident to the Division’s Carrier Practices Unit to be used during an audit.
