Electronic Billing Mandate
The Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development requires e-billing for medical bills with few exceptions. All providers and carriers shall use electronic billing and EDI, if they have the capability to do so. All such communications shall comply with all applicable Medicare and HIPAA requirements.
