ID Electronic Billing

Last update
May 5, 2026

Idaho is a provider-optional electronic billing (e-billing) state for workers' compensation claims.

Important: Payors are not required to accept e-bills. Providers should confirm with payors before submitting e-bills to enable timely payment.

Below are the Idaho workers' comp electronic billing requirements.

Electronic Billing (e-Billing)

Idaho providers have two options for submitting workers' compensation bills.

  • Electronic billing (e-Billing): Submit bills electronically through approved systems (i.e., daisyBill)
  • Paper billing: Submit traditional paper bills by mail.

Providers choose whether to submit bills electronically.

Important: Payors are not required to accept e-bills. Providers should confirm with payors before submitting e-bills to enable timely payment.

Before Submitting e-Bills

daisyBill encourages Idaho providers to confirm with payors before submitting e-bills.

Failing to verify e-billing acceptance may cause rejected bills or payment delays.
